SBI Conferences- People Helping People, Learning, Teamwork and FUN!

Sometimes when I am home, typing pages in my somewhat solitary space, I feel like I am the only one in the world experiencing what I am experiencing.

It can feel like a frustrating task can take a whole day to figure out, or something exciting will happen in my work day and I am exploding to tell someone about it, but there isn't really anyone who will totally "get" the importance of it like a fellow SBI'er would.

At an SBI conference, though, I NEVER feel that way because there are tons of wonderful SBI'ers at all levels and who have pockets of expertise that I can tap into and are happy to share their knowledge.

There are loads of great presentations with excellent speakers who don't just talk "at" you, but walk you through concepts and SHOW you on screen what to do so that you can replicate this for your own site(s) back at home.

You can ask questions, get people to look at your site and get suggestions, and get your questions answered once and for all.

On top of that, there is a camaraderie that develops over the course of the conference days that will stay with you after you get back home and as you move further into developing your business.

Now that I have been to Chicago, I totally know that I could check in with any of my fellow attendees on the forums or our Facebook page or even here on the conference site, and I would have an instant connection because we worked together, did the "YMCA" together, ate Chicago stuffed pizza together, partied together, laughed together, cried together----well, you get the picture. We are now bonded tortoises for LIFE!!

Seriously, I am pretty sure that I can SAFELY say that everyone who went to the conference felt that they got their money and time investment out of it a million-fold. If they didn't feel that way, then they somehow couldn't find it in themselves to make use of the networking and availability of resources there because it was all around us. Even if you were quiet or a bit shy, we drew you out and you participated, and you had FUN- not naming names here, but you know who you are! SBI'ers watch out for each other and don't exclude. We want everyone to learn and have a good time. We are not about keeping things exclusive.

If you are thinking about going to a conference but aren't sure, just ask your question or post your concern here. I am sure that any one of the attendees of past conferences will get your question answered and get you fired up about going in short order.

As Kim says, you OWE it to yourself to go. You will never regret the decision for even one second. I promise you that!
